UET Trotting Masters Final, September 16th at Östersund
A Major Race with the European elite!
The grand finale of UET trotting masters is this year for the first time held at Östersund Racetrack.
UET Trotting Masters is the European trotting series league. The horses rank trough the results in the race included in the UET Trotting Series. A total of 105 European race are included in the UET Trotting Series. Most ranking points can be obtained in the four Grand Slam races, which are Prix d'Amerique, Gran Premio Lotteria, Elitloppet and the Oslo Grand Prix. There are also more points in Group 1 races than Group 2 races. The horse that collected the highest number of points in the big league that is part of the UET Trotting Series will be ranked one in Europe.
Every fall, even the highest rated horses meet in a final. Depending on the organizer country and racecourse, between 12-16 horses can participate in the finals. The post positions are distributed in such a way that the highest ranking first selects the post and then is selected in descending order. The final round is a Group 1 race, a race of the highest international class, and has 180,000 euros in first prize.
Last years race was held in France at Vincennes racetrack in Paris. Aubrion du Gers with driver Jean Michel Bazire won the race. Will it be a Swedish horse this year?
