Race 3 - Jarlsberg
8 Smiley won last Wednesday despite a tough journey on the outside. Was simply the best and should have a good chance but needs some luck with this poor number. 6 Lucca resumes from a longer pause. Finished well to a fourth spot on Jarlsberg at the end of December. Early choice. 3 Dreamliner got locked in on the inside with plenty of energy left in the last run. Could win here instead. 2 Noble Tile has a couple of runs under his belt and should be on the way up. The Malmin stable is getting in form as well now.

5 Lykkje Proffen has a strong season with nine wins in 15 starts. Has got a short break now but will certainly be able to put in a strong performance directly 9 Il Salvador made a short mistake in the last start and got locked in for a long while. Is in good form and the main challenger. 10 Jerk Spik set a new record in the last circular start and should be on the way up. Possible behind our top duo. 1 Spang Sirius is well drawn and has been consistent and good. Outsider with the right journey.

3 Hopus Castelle should just avoid a mistake this time. In that case he has top chance to win. He is not reliable though but in the last run he did well. He handles these opponents. 4 Thunderball S.F. made it to the Norwegian Derby last year and has good skills. Second start after a long pause here. 6 Cuando Bailando galloped twice in the last run. Put in quite a good seasonal debut before that. Should not be overlooked if the favorite fails. 1 Avonaco comes from victory and has got a nice number. Should not be overlooked.

Race 6 - Jarlsberg
3 Access had a number in the second line in the last run. Parked outside of the leader and was brave. Should be on the way up for trainer Hamre and this number is nice. 2 Income is better than the latest results show. Was not at his best at the end of last season and resumes from a spell now. Worth a warning. 6 Frick did not impress in the last run but he seems on the way up anyway and normally he should be considered early in this company. 7 Amazing Street needs some racing luck with this number behind the gate. Place chance in that case.
