V86 SuperDays® (multijackpot): Christoffer comes well prepared

Grand finale of V86 SuperDays® and a multijackpot – could Christoffer Eriksson be the key to finding all eight winners?
The Åby trainer is heavily represented on the betting slip and sends a total of six horses to Axevalla, which shares the card with Solvalla.
"Hafa Go Go is the one who, at least on paper, appears to have the best conditions," Eriksson assesses ahead of Wednesday.

On Wednesday evening, we have reached the conclusion of V86 SuperDays®, when a multijackpot will be handed out.
At least SEK 33 million awaits a sole winner with all eight correct picks – at the time of writing, it should be added, as Monday's and Tuesday's cards have yet to be decided.
National track Solvalla, which is also preparing for Criterium weekend, shares V86 with Axevalla, and the Åby trainer sends a six-horse team to the track between Skara and Skövde.
Two of them are sent out already in the first leg.
Both 2 Jeriko Brick and 3 Kyrie Eleison (V86-1) return after layoffs.
"Jeriko Brick needed a little break after his most recent start and has been taken care of afterward, but the horse has been training well for a while now and should be ready for a good performance. Everything has felt good, so I think his form should be about the same as before. He got a good starting position here, and the horse leaves well, so they will try to find a good position right away," says Christoffer.
Kyrie Eleison racked up STL wins last spring, but after injury problems has made only a few starts this year and now returns refreshed after a layoff of just under four months.
"He made two starts after a long layoff when he returned from injury, but he broke into a pace in both starts, so we had to make some adjustments with him as well. Now he has been training well again and will race with a little more weight up front this time. He is a very good horse at his core, and we hope he can return to the level he showed previously. The conditions are good here, but for now the most important thing is that he can get going and start racing again. It feels like Jeriko Brick is the hotter of my two horses in the race."

Too little money relative to his ability
In the third leg of the evening, which is contested over the long distance, the stable's chance is 2 Pure Color (V86-3).
The four-year-old has alternated between breaks and wins lately, but comes off a strong performance that resulted in a win at Åmål in a race going the opposite direction.
"Pure Color had a tough race last time and has looked good in recent weeks. I think he will have a good fall going forward. The horse is also fairly difficult in volt start, so this is a bit of a gamble. We want to see if it works, but if he stays flat, I think he is a very good horse for the class, tough and solid."
Relatively new to the trainer is 7 Hafa Go Go (V86-5).
The mare has had a varied racing career but has now, in two starts for the Eriksson stable, shown her high ability. She won easily last time after taking the lead early.
"She was good last time and also looked good right away when she came to us. The horse finished strongly, and it feels like she has too little money in the bank relative to her ability. It seems like things have clicked for her now, and the horse feels smooth and good and has performed well all along. We got a post a little farther out here, but she left well last time, so we hope they can get away reasonably well from here. I think she is good for this class, as I said, and she should be able to do some work along the way as well."
Christoffer also has two horses in the seventh leg.
11 Esteban Bar and 12 Fly Express (V86-7) drew unfavorable starting positions over the sprint distance, but the race is also what is known as a handicap.
"Fly Express is a bit of an 'old-fashioned' horse, you have to hold him and drive at the same time, so I don't take his most recent performance too seriously when he didn't have his regular driver behind him. He should still be in good form and also looks smooth at the moment, the horse feels good. Now both our horses got poor posts here, but at the same time they are dropping in class, so we hope for some speed in the race because then the finish will surely bite well for our horses," says the trainer and continues:
"Esteban Bar got his chance late last time on the open stretch but finished quickly in the final part. It is pretty much the same thing for him, he is also a good horse for the class and for the race, but they need a little luck with the pace if it is going to work from here. The plan is to race Esteban Bar barefoot all around now, which would be a first for me."
To sum it up, which one do you feel is the hottest chance?
"Hafa Go Go is the one who, at least on paper, appears to have the best conditions."
