Expert tips for Momarken, Saturday 3/19/2022
Race 1 - Momarken
10 Whelk resumes from a short pause. She started once under the saddle last year and scored a good win then. Nice task this time. 4 Brage Hindø is interesting in this discipline. He won easily in a sulky race last Sunday and has to be considered early here as well. 2 Thai Knight is consistent and good. Got a tough journey outside of the leader in the last run and scored a strong fourth spot. Will be interesting to follow under the saddle now. 7 Admiral Knick comes from victory under the saddle. Short distance then. Possible over this middle distance too but needs some racing luck.

13 Prontoprinsen has won seven out of 13 races so far. We think he is the best horse in this field but this number is tricky. Good chance with the right journey. 4 Fjord Odin is interesting in the first circle. He has a strong season last year and has to be considered directly in this seasonal debut. 14 Haugestad Duft is not reliable but when he is at his best he is fast enough to beat these opponents. 10 Glitrende Tider would have fought for victory if he had not galloped on the home stretch. Outsider.

Race 3 - Momarken
10 Katja B.R. did well as a three-year-old last season and needed the last race. With the right journey she will defeat many opponents here. 2 Thai Harlem was not at his best last autumn but is back on track now. He won easily in the middle of September finishing 13/1000. 6 Forever Dream was not at his best in the last run and has got a break. The horse won four out of nine races last year and should not be overlooked now. 3 Baker is in good form. Tougher opponents now but nice number.

9 Jonathan Bank A.B. was not at his best in the last Norwegian Derby. Scored a good second spot in the elimination heat and is tough. Early contender directly in this seasonal debut. 1 Ronja Boko has one run under her belt for the new trainer. Interesting number. Early choice. 2 O.M.Entertainyou won with energy left in the lead on February 12. Is well drawn behind the gate now and could be an outsider. 6 Karls Helge likes the short distance and can open fast. Outsider.

10 Maestro Crowe is very strong and Ingves knows the horse well (five wins together). Comes from a nice victory and will probably be hard to beat here. Banker. 13 Amazing Warrior has won both starts this year. Is versatile and has to be considered early. 14 Oracle Tile has good capacity. He finished well in the last run and got locked in with energy left before that. 3 Gitan de Touchyvon has become more reliable and is good for this class. Can do it tough.

3 Fighter Vang has won four out of the last five races and was second in the fifth one (closely defeated after a late opening). He won from outside the leader on February 14. 10 Global Bodyguard is good for this class. He won in the lead two starts back and in the last V75 race he was fourth and got locked in with energy left. 6 Difficult Ways has ten wins in 19 attempts and won directly after a pause in the last run despite a tough journey. 9 Velten Swarovski is good for this class. New trainer here and early contender directly in this comeback.

14 Odd Herakles wins very often and won directly after a long pause in the last run. He won comfortably in the lead then. Different task now but good chance anyway. 6 Todin is in good shape. Scored a nice win in the lead on February 18 and got locked in with energy left behind Odd Herakles in the last run. Has got a 20 meter advantage this time. 10 Ulsrud Tea is very speedy and she still has the right attitude. 15 Troll Solen is strong and consistent and good. Should be considered quite early here.

12 Namanga Bo has good skills and won comfortably in the last run after a fast finish. Should be considered early in this company. Our pick. 6 Bahama Passion uses to meet tough opponents and finished well to third in the last comeback race. Should be even better now. 11 Callas comes from a close but comfortable win. Before that she galloped on the home stretch fighting for victory. 5 Listas Marion was outstanding on January 7 and has finished well in the races after.

8 A Perfect Dutchess is chasing the seventh win in a row. Is all-round and won comfortably in the last run despite a journey outside of the leader. 7 Borups Umami is very gifted and finished well to second in the last run after a pause. Scored two nice wins in a row in November. 11 Elegant C N has scored two straight wins in Sweden lately over this distance. Won in the lead in the last run and finished to victory on Åby before that. 3 Present Tile finished to victory on Bjerke two starts back and looked nice. Has to be considered quite early.

4 Bill's Man has three second spots in a row now. Is gifted and deserves a victory (has been defeated by Stoletheshow twice and Ble du Gers after that). Our pick. 1 Upper Face is very good every now and then. He comes from victory after a nice journey second on the outside. 2 Chapuy can open very fast and likes this short distance. Will probably lead this for a long while - maybe from start to finish. 8 Floris Baldwin is good for this class and finished strongly to third in the last run.

1 Strong Heartbeat is classy and has good skills. Was not at his best in the last run but has otherwise won his starts after a long break. Top chance. 4 Hulken Sisu is tough and has good strength. Has scored a couple of good second spots lately and is in fine form. 7 Legend Act scored a good third spot on Åby two starts back and finished to an easy win in the last run. 9 Reven Dejavu can finish very fast and is in good shape. Has to be considered quite early here.

He has won all three races after a long pause lately and eleven wins in 13 attempts so far. 3 Bjørn Bork won easily in the lead on October 12. Came back well after a mistake in the final turn in the last run. Early choice. 2 Tangen Tore has won ten out of 41 starts and finished well to second in the last run. 7 Horg Mio has done well lately. He was second two starts back and just closely defeated.
