Expert tips for Halmstad, Thursday 5/21/2026
Race 1 - Halmstad
7 Alfes is a winning machine with six victories in seven starts. He won closely in the V85 two starts back but was completely superior in the last race. A bit tricky number and now with Stefan Persson. Good chance.
4 Global Federation was perhaps not at his best as third as a mega favorite last time. Three straight wins before that including a V85 race at Bollnäs. Good lane. Early choice.
8 Gladiator S. is lightning fast from the start and our clear favorite for the lead despite this lane. Took two straight wins at the beginning of the year and is possible here too.
12 Churchill Face was second behind Chribo Hill in a V85 final at Solvalla on December 26th. Has galloped at the end and resumes from a spell. Now with Kolgjini.

Race 2 - Halmstad
1 Express Jab faces tough conditions money-wise but has a good task here. Has done well in the V85 towards the end and is our favorite for the lead from here. Will not be easy to beat with Stefan Persson this time.
12 Matti Ruisma got interfered and got a punctured sulky in the last race and we forget that race. He was superior in the V85 in January and is good for this company.
9 Frenchy Boy has a tricky number too but is good for this company. He won in March at this track and is an early choice behind our favourite.
2 Avici Willow comes from a second place ahead of some of today's opponents. Has an excellent number and could surprise.

Race 3 - Halmstad
9 Martimo Sjöhammar won directly from the front for Robert Bergh in the last race and should be even better now. Different number but will probably get an offensive trip. Our pick.
6 Kenobi Mearas won three out of five races last year. Has galloped this year as heavily backed and should avoid a mistake first. Has five out of five from the lead and gets an offensive start here?
8 Global Flashback won six out of 15 starts last year. Without victory after six attempts this season and has a difficult lane here. Has to be considered early anyway behind our favorite.
12 Nepenthe Boko is a quick starter but has a poor number. Two straight wins from the lead in February and second from the front last time. Hopes for quick pace and should not be overlooked then.

8 Light In had a nice season last year and won in the V85 at Örebro in December. Won outright at today's track last time and has a run under his belt now. Difficult lane but fast from the start.
3 Stens Rebell comes with two wins in a row and has a good lane. He can open fast but has had a short layoff. Early challenger.
1 Tactical Lady comes from Timo Nurmos and is exciting in the debut for Gustav Johansson. Hasn't started since July but should be well prepared. Quick starter.
11 Nice Run has already scored three victories this year and won with Stefan Persson at Åby in March. Galloped as a mega favorite in the last race under the saddle . Hoping for quick pace.
