Expert tips for Sörlandet, Monday 6/8/2026
Race 1 - Sörlandet
2 Custom Cruze gets the tip in this very weak race. Has faced much tougher horses towards the end and should have a good chance from this nice post.
1 Jackpot Sisu did alright as fifth in the last race and should be improved by that run under his belt. He will probably get a good trip from here.
3 Never Too Late has not won yet after 20 starts but put in several good efforts of late. Early choice in this field.
4 Hansi Thorup has mostly just kept up the pace at the end but could be a place bet here.

Race 2 - Sörlandet
6 Braaums Jerken took four wins and nine second places last year. Hasn't won yet this year but been consistent and good towards the end. Finished well as third last time. Early choice.
1 Rikkola was second last Thursday and did well. Starts very often and has an ideal number here. Early choice.
4 Bjönnum Oda won comfortably in March and has also put in good performances since then. Should be considered early in this company.
2 Sjö Sara earned the most money last year and has a good lane. Hasn't really convinced this year though and her form is a bit of a question mark.

8 Get Going has a tough lane but should have top chance anyway. Has won five of ten races this year and comes from several strong performances. Banker.
4 Custom Captain was second in a ridden race last Thursday. Got disqualified as first over the finish line two starts back and deserves a victory.
7 Bazze Poderoso only raced once last year but has done well in three starts after a long layoff. Should not be discounted here.
5 Mattex won three of ten races last year but is still without victory this season. Was third from the pocket in the last race and is at least a contender for a place bet.

Race 4 - Sörlandet
6 Kringelandisak never had a chance during the last Elitloppet weekend but had put in several nice performances before that. He will face quite easy opposition here and should have a good chance.
5 Fyra took two wins in a row in April and May and is consistent and good. Beat our pick at this track in May and should be considered early here.
4 Kleppe Nido was fourth behind our top duo at this track in May and is coming off two consecutive second places. Early choice.
2 Öina Perla was second in a slightly bigger race two starts back. Followed well as third from the outside of the leader in the last race. Should not be overlooked.

Race 5 - Sörlandet
3 Hallogubben has started really well with three wins in five starts. Won straight away in the seasonal debut second last time and held strong second last time. Good job and a good chance.
6 Trö Eika won four of eight races last year. Finished strongly second in the last race and is should be considered early on .
8 Nolle Ö. K. was third behind Trö Eika last time and is looking for revenge. Three consecutive second places in April and May and deserves a win.
7 Knutli Lodda has only one win in 33 starts but has been very consistent and good in the end. Was only closely defeated in second place the second time around. Not out.

6 Intello de Corday won seven races last year and earned the most money. He sprinted well to second place at the end and gets the our pick.
2 Athletic Sun won three of ten races last year. Was fourth from the outside of the leader in the last race. Good draw and early choice.
7 Smileandwave has won ten of 36 races. Without victory last year but is coming off a win. A bit tricky number now but should is considered in any case.
3 Allegra Avanza was fifth behind the winner Smileandwave in the last race and is looking for revenge. She is in a much better draw this time.
