Expert tips for Karlshamn, Thursday 7/16/2026
Race 1 - Karlshamn
4 Sparkling Wine has started quite well but has galloped in the lead in the last two starts. Took two straight wins before that and will probably go for the front. Now driven by Peter Untersteiner. Barefoot behind. Good chance without a mistake.
1 Savage Love faces tough conditions money-wise but has a good lane. Can open fast and will probably get a good trip together with Stefan Persson this time.
3 Global Hippie won from the pocket two starts back. Was unlucky at the end last time and we forget that race. Good lane and early choice behind our favorite.
5 Gasolina Jet is coming off a very easy win from the lead and did well at Vaggeryd. With a similar effort he will be in the fight here too.

Race 2 - Karlshamn
5 Isla Tortuga looked to be heading for victory in the last V86 race after a perfect trip from the pocket. He gave up at the end and only finished fourth. Easier now and quick starter. Good chance from the front in quite a weak race.
8 Immortal has only one third place in seven starts this year but has done quite well as fourth. V85 last time and down in class now. Difficult lane.
1 Passage to India has not won yet and faces tough conditions but will probably get a good journey with Anton Knutsson. Should not be discounted.
10 Mondavi was clearly defeated as second in a low class race at Kalmar last time. One win in 18 starts but good enough for this company. Bike this time.

Race 3 - Karlshamn
1 Divine Express is our pick in a wide open race. Scored a good win in the lead two starts back but has been a scratch due to fever after the last race. Quick starter and new driver.
6 Nicole Silvio has started quite well and comes from a couple of good performances against better horses. A bit tricky number but an early choice with the right trip.
7 She's A Keeper has been consistent and good at the end without winning. She was second in the last race behind top horse Ebba Kuce and is driven again by Noa Reldén.
9 Zipora C.D. has won two out of seven races this year. Has been matched in the V85 at the end and is back in regular class now. Tricky number and needs a bit of luck.

Race 4 - Karlshamn
6 Green Peaks is our idea in another open race. He has competed a lot in the V85 this year and is clearly better than the latest results show. Makes his debut for Gustav Johansson and is certainly well prepared.
2 Otto Sotto is also a contender. He is a quick starter and our close favorite for the lead. Driven this time by Jörgen Sjunnesson.
5 Vikens Tracker had a nice season last year and is perhaps the best horse. His form is a bit of a question mark but this post is good.
9 Chelsea did well last season too with four wins in twelve starts. Returns after a long layoff. Barefoot straight away.
